On January 18, the Chamber Technology Engagement Center (C_TEC) hosted a TecTalk with Representatives John Delaney and Mike Ferguson, co-chairs of the the U.S. Chamber’s new Commission on Artificial Intelligence Competitiveness, Inclusion, and Innovation (“AI Commission”).
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is poised to transform the way Americans work, socialize, and other numerous facets of our lives. It is already having a major impact on certain industries ranging from healthcare to transportation and will ultimately affect businesses and workers in every sector of the economy.
To provide independent, bipartisan recommendations to aid policymakers, AI Commission will research and recommend artificial intelligence policies as it relates to regulation, international research and development competitiveness, and future jobs. The AI Commission will convene field hearings in key locations around the U.S. and internationally to explore these critical issues.
