U.S. Chamber Statement on Appeals Court Ruling on Net Neutrality
WASHINGTON, D.C.—Neil Bradley, Executive Vice President and Chief Policy Officer, U.S. Chamber of Commerce issued the following statement today related to the U.S. Court of Appeals D.C. Circuit opinion on the Restoring Internet Freedom Order:
“The Chamber applauds today’s decision by the D.C. Circuit to uphold the light-touch regulatory framework adopted by the Federal Communications Commission, which ushered in a new wave of broadband investment. It’s past time for Congress to pass permanent net neutrality protections that fit today’s digital economy and do not treat the internet like a public utility.”
