Letter of Support for the Nomination of Jessica Rosenworcel as FCC Chair
TO THE MEMBERS OF THE UNITED STATES SENATE:
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce supports the nomination of Jessica Rosenworcel to serve as Chair of the Federal Communications Commission.
Acting Chairwoman Rosenworcel is a well-qualified nominee and has a long record of public service, including as an FCC Commissioner since 2012 and Acting Chairwoman of the Commission since January 2021. The FCC plays a crucial role in ensuring that all Americans are connected in the 21st century digital economy and in protecting American global leadership in a vibrant communications marketplace. As the FCC carries out its responsibilities, it is critical that a permanent Chair is in place.
The Chamber looks forward to working with Acting Chairwoman Rosenworcel as FCC Chair. We support Senate confirmation of her nomination.
