TecTalk with Representatives Gerry Connolly and Darrell Issa

For decades, public sector IT infrastructure has woefully lagged the private sector—a stark divide highlighted by the pandemic as government systems proved inadequate to meet the needs of citizens. On Thursday, January 20, Chamber Technology Engagement Center (C_TEC) hosted a TecTalk with Representatives Darrell Issa (R-CA) and Gerry Connolly (D-VA), co-chairs of the new bipartisan Congressional IT Modernization Caucus, on how government can digitally transform to better serve the American public. 

The TecTalk series are fireside chats with leaders in technology from state capitals to Capitol Hill, as well as the innovators themselves. The series will examine how technology is driving economic growth and elevating communities and what policymakers can do to foster the 21st century economy.
